How Not To Climb A Mountain
by Branch Nebula

How Not to Climb a Mountain is a full-length, highly physical performance that embraces risk, resourcefulness and inventive failure. Working from a position of being deliberately ill-equipped, the performers repurpose found materials, pushing them beyond their intended function. Mountaineering ice spike shoes scale a cardboard wall, then glide delicately and unnervingly across human skin. Highly trained acrobats struggle against stage dollies awkwardly strapped to their bodies.
Sound is generated live and inseparable from the action. Guitars are misused, power tools meet instruments, and amplifiers shape haunting soundscapes.
How Not to Climb a Mountain unfolds in real time – nothing polished, nothing hidden.
